LCP Saver Pack-standard

What makes roof drain pan model LCP so versatile?

This roof drain pan is designed to accept the primary and the overflow Zurn Z100 flat roof drains in a one-piece flat plate. The modified version will accept the same roof drains in the side outlet version.

What makes this a dream to install is that both roof drains easily bolt to the sump pans and the entire assembly is installed between joists that are 24" on center without any modifications! No framing. No welding.  A major time saver. There is a center support that is recommended only.

How can contractors increase production and reduce labor costs using roof drain pan LSP?

For contractors, using roof drain pan LSP on your next roof drain project means you will no longer have to build labor intensive wood sump boxes.

The major roof drain manufacturers don't offer a roof drain sump pan that is designed to lower the roof drain (not a real sump pan) with their flat roof drains so the contractor has to come up with a solution.  That solution is usually building wood sump boxes for each roof drain or taper the existing roof toward the roof drains. This can be VERY expensive to do.

Having a superior grade pre-fabricated metal sump pan on your jobsite means your crews can lower your flat roof drains in minutes, not hours. You may avoid tapering the roof entirely and save your client tens of thousands of dollars while offering them superior grade products for their respective properties.  That's value engineering !

Time is money in the construction business and this sump pan decreases labor costs and increases production! Also, the quality laser fabrication means a perfect fit every time with no down time from parts that don't match!.

Is the roof drain pan kit difficult to install for a do-it-yourselfer?

No! This roof drainage system was designed to be installed by the pro and the novice alike. Prior to this sump pan being invented, sumping a 15" cast iron roof drain was no easy task. It weighs almost 30 pounds and measures about 16" across and about 12" tall. It is heavy and cumbersome and it had to be made to fit between the joists without massive reframing!  These problems have been solved with roof drain pan LSP.

Many property owners, handymen and maintenance people buy this simple to install roof drainage system because of the ease of installation. Having the installation kit or Super Saver pack which consists of a pre-fabricated sump pan, roof drain and hardware to hand when you start your project takes all of the effort out of the work. You can install it in about 15 minutes or less. Check out the roof drain installation video.

Product Purpose

The purpose of roof drain pan model LCP is to eliminate standing rain water on your flat roof while increasing the roof drains efficiency.

This is accomplished by “sumping”, or lowering the roof drains with this patented roof drain sump feature.

The integral sump feature easily lowers the roof drain 2-1/2" below the flat roof deck surface thereby increasing the flow of rain water into the sump pan and roof drains. When installed in the low spots of the roof, this system works like magic.

Sumping a roof drain is vital if you want to maximize your roof drains potential and eliminate standing water on your flat roof.

Product Description

The physical drainage surface of the sump pan and the bowl diameters of both roof drains an enormous amount of surface area and achieve excellent flat roof drainage.

The length of the roof drain pan is 45-3/4" L x 30-1/2" W x 2-1/2" sump depth. The massive sump area adds a tremendous amount to the surface area of the roof drains, thereby increasing drainage efficiency.

Each roof drain has a 15" bowl. Under normal usage, the primary roof drain will drain up to 110 gallons per minute of rain water and serve a roof area of 5,300 square feet. This is based on a 4″ pipe at 1/4″ drop per foot at 2 inches per hour of rainfall. (ref 2018 Uniform plumbing code.)  When you add the sump area, roughly five additional square feet to the roof drain area, the drainage capacity is greatly increased.
